Some people stop eating, some eat too much. Others just wallow and fall apart(that’s ok, sometimes) and I bake.
Nothing gives me greater pleasure than baking a cake or whatever I have the ingredients for.
I know I should include the boy in my baking, but I do so much other stuff with him, I think of this as ‘my time’.
When the finished product is done, whatever was stressing me, is baked away!
I’ve now taken my baking one more step, and started my own baking business. I’ve started supplying to a couple local cafes, and I hope to supply a couple more in the next couple months. I also do cupcakes for birthdays, etc. and I got a job from twitter!
Baking makes me happy and that speaks volumes for me!

Wow, those cupcakes look amazing, good on you for starting up your own business with them! I also love to bake cakes when I get the chance, and like to make my children’s birthday cakes. Have thought about starting up a business but I’ve got a bit of icing practicing to be doing first!
